The more objects you own,
The further lost you’ll be.
After all those years spent fantasizing over induced desires,
Coveting ready-made solutions to non-existing problems,
Stacking them along shelves, cupboards and wardrobes,
Each item has tied one more knot on the wire where visual fields are captive.
The wire has imposed a squint on your eyes.
They have unlearned to focus beyond the wire of objects.
