I’ve heard that on the desk of the President of the US, it is written : « The bucket stops here ».
I don’t know if that is true,
But I do know the unwritten sentence : « the lie stops here » is always written on every meditation cushion.
Whether we can see it or not.
Sometimes, five minutes of zazen is the only slot of honesty in the whole day.
Life without sitting is a lie that never ends.
