We are sometimes forced to take several boats before reaching the Island of our Soul,
Zen is the last boat.
I’m not here to board yet another ship, loaded with gear and other foodstuffs, to then hop in the Zen canoe.
Thirsty, hungry,
Many signal themselves to the big ship passing in front of them, they wave their arms and scream,
The sailors, moved by compassion, hoist him up and feed him.
When reaching the shore, the man gets dressed, moves aroung and surrounds himself with people and starts to build…
Until the day comes when, tired, he sets for the Island on a wooden canoe which will abandon him somewhere in the middle of the ocean.
Zen is the last canoe.
But that’s not the reason why he’s taking us to Soul Island.
This island cannot be seen from the freighters or busy ships,
His vision blurs at the sound of engines.
She is sometimes just behind,
The wake they leave as they pass us,
The man learns.
Zen is not a particular vessel,
It is direct, small, simple ship.
Each traditional freighter has, suspended from its hull, or hidden in some hold, an old Zen canoe, ready to jump into the sea, with the man on board.
There is also a big freighter from Zen, in this one the canoe is even more hidden.
Often, even, the captain has forgotten its existence.

But, more or less, what I think you were saying…

yes abrupt rephrasing is what I (persistently) need.
I get lost in words so easily.
Words lose more than they help, eventually.
