Can’t this fear shed light on the « fear of God » in the Biblical or Quranic sense ?
It would thus be, not the fear of God in the sense, « object of fear » but in a much broader genitive relationship: a fear linked to something related to the divine: the fear of being estranged from God then becomes a possible understanding.
The fear of being distant from God / From the Way / from the Center / from the Axis.
The fear of being distant from God means the will not to be so,
i.e. the will to be in God / on the Way / in the Center
The fear of God is thus the expression of our Divine Nature.
