Group History

Sending the leader the signals corresponding to what an individual who needs to think of himself as a leader expects, is to assure the sender of a place in the group and to overcome his fear of no longer belonging to it.
In other words, the sender confirms the leader’s status so as to ensure his belonging to the group.

So does the disciple to the master
So does the employee to the boss

Thus group dynamics and their maintenance over time,

One fears anonymity,
The other fears loneliness,

Therefore, the one who seeks anonymity and solitude is on the Way.

For his time is no longer used to maintain a group dynamic by coating his request with a cream of spirituality,
They may wear the clothes, recite between the sutras, sing like this, talk like that,
The walk along the spiritual path has not started yet.

He who likes to walk alone in the silence of the countryside,
And sits alone in the dark of night,
Is wrapped by spiritual winds,

It’s quite possible that he doesn’t even know about it.
