Stabbing Sentence

In our daily relationships, the sentence that hurts, stabs you right in the middle of the heart,
The expression that accuses, the lack of response to numerous calls for attention,
desperate urges for delicacy,
is mistreatment..
This usual mistreatment that we regret, that we should not have given in to, sent to the face of an other person, very often, the smallest, the weakest that there is.
The one who takes our overflow of negative energy accumulated by someone stronger, someone greater than us, who has discharged ahead of our own outpouring of mistreatment.

Sometimes “the strongest”, discharging on ourselves, is the world, the context, the « other » of our frustrations.

I notice that by injecting mindfulness in such moments of mistreatment, even an ex post injection thereof, as I’m doing today while I write these words, I am already working to remove the seed of mistreatment from the situation it could have grown in. It then loses its energy and disintegrates very quickly…. a millimeter between two wires previously contacting wires (the sentence which seems to be charged and the context…) and the destructive current no longer passes.

I can, through mindfulness, remove my inner field from the seeds of the boss, of colleagues, of the stranger, of my wife, of the context.
and be free from the violence of others.
