Any attempts at rendering through words
The experience of God, Zen
is laughable

Very funny,
Subtle observation
Silent noise.

    1. The problem does not lie so much in the means used to rendering God as in the attempt of doing so.
You do no render the Beyond Rendering,

I just read a book where it is mentioned an episode of ecstasy(unsure of the word here…) experienced by Thomas Of Aquinas..while he was preaching at Mass

After this experience, he stopped writing at once…
Though a theological / mystical / Spiritual / literary genius, he laid down the quill,

and said that everything he could ever write was ridiculous in comparison with…

      1. Maybe, but when spirituality stalls at the point of communication, is that not rather self indulgent? Teaching – if that is a valid term, as I rather think « communicating » is preferable, though still far from perfect – via silence may be an ideal, but practicality is rather more important in everyday terms.

How can we even begin to understand what another cannot tell us?

      2. What would be the point of understanding that on tries to tell us if it can never be put into word satisfyingly?
Shouldn’t spirituality be a sphere when one never settles for half-hearted /lukewarm solutions?
Words are a screen that needs to be crossed.
What about the necessity for words?
Couldn’t it be the final form of attachment that remains?
Walking around in our underwear and calling ourselves naked, at last.
A reversed version of ‘The emperor’s new groove’…
