Exoskeleton of Prayer

Reciting a text or a prayer is not a lower practice compared to silent meditation.
It may prove to be a means of access to the latter.

A voice that recites, vocally and/or mentally, allows the disinvestment of thoughts, this in a physiological way, psychologically felt/validated, by a shift in the center of activity.

The focus of attention is no longer thoughts, because they may have proven to be too powerfully magnetic.
The support of consciousness becomes the sound, which vibrates, or the interior recitation which comes to coat the rock of thoughts.
The word slips between the fingers, and channels consciousness, when it has left our posture.

This practice then appears as a wise diversion, as all well-crafted teachings are, from silent sitting, a way of saving the organism of the practitioner in posture: extra-corporeal circulation while the patient is operated on, which keeps him in place for the time of treatment, the time necessary to cure the spine.
When the mind, when the body, through posture,
Take over.
