As The Feather Lands

I sometimes find it difficult to differentiate between religion and politics,
Between debates on religion and rhetorical attempts to trigger agreement to an ideological system.

Many works dealing with religion or theology are inherent to this level of consciousness.
At no time are the depths of spiritual life approached.
Besides, such a format does not allow it.

The logical narrative, the path of the argument does not allow spiritual feathers to land..
If the ellipse, the assumption, the ever-elusive hint allow spiritual life to shine through,
We cannot convince in practice. We can only point to the beauty of the Spirit.

I think the same goes for sermons and teachings in general.
They only speak to hearts that have already been in contact with the spiritual feather.

As such, left to their demonstrative architecture, they are only a political discourse, an attempt to garner support through argumentative intrusion.

And membership through political discourse always includes a point of interest, ambition, or a desire for social integration.
This is all very good…but has nothing to do with spiritual practice.

    1. Hello Mary,
      Thanks for commenting…
I believe the overlapping of those two is an illusion.
What we name religion there has never been anything but politics.
And religious men, anything but politicians.

      Have a very nice evening.

    1. Religion is about coming back to inner unity.
all the rest is a fraud.
(and that adds up to a lot of « religions » / movements, spiritual practices….)
