Effusion and Sobriety

I clearly establish a powerful link between external sobriety and internal effusion.
To the point that the maintenance of one is the necessary condition for the emergence of the other.
This is certainly the reason for my attachment to silent sitting, to this radical simplicity,
This is also the reason why, when Zen becomes a system and a matter for (more or less) subtle identification or ostentatious practice (the result of a half-turn towards the outside – reverse conversion),

I have no interest in it.
From then on, what happens, what is in question is no longer Zen, even if it is adorned with the attire and the framework of the circumstances or is colored by the expected songs, bows and speeches.

The dialogue between external sobriety and internal effusion
always leads back to simple sitting,
what attracts me in this or that other tradition and what distances me from it
as soon as these elements disappear.
