Harp of the Heart

And if something resonates within you – book, word, teaching,
It is because it is already there.
This arpeggio of inner strings, this harp in the depths of the heart,
None of this would sound within you, if it were not the case.

Scriptures are not external books
Can we really say this ?

If I do not read my soul by reading them, what are they?
If I do not read these books by sitting in silence,
What am I doing then?
