Nothing Less

The Zen I practice,
the only one I can practice,
Brings nothing more than other traditions,
There is no secret teaching, no ultimate wisdom Zen would hold and other traditions would not.
Zen is the radical expression of the naked truth, stripped of its civilizational, cultural, conceptual, psychological skins,

Silent prayer.

When Zen becomes a place where dead skins get pile up, it then ceases to be Zen
and then presents nothing more than other traditions.
The added value of Zen is a value that is substracted.
Zen is the living, the unspeakable, sacred juice of the moment.

Zen is also at the heart of all traditions, as soon as the practitioner delves far from surface mind activity to get closer to the beating heart.

Without this vain burying of dead skin, without these processes of superficial identification, without these projections, Zen is a direct path to wisdom.
