It is simple: when I live in the Center, all the teachings resonate and open up in depth.
When I live on the periphery, the traditions and their teachings: respective figures enter into competition and call for the feverish taking of position of one at the expense of the other.

You are the ultimate unitarian.
The problem is that traditions manipulate, distort, until teachings are framed in exclusive terms.
At that point, the tradition renders the teaching, at worst, unidentifiable and worthless. A gilded corpse. At best, cheapened and hidden.
One resonates, ultimately, only in an encumbered awareness.
