Secondary Devotion

The spiritual value of showing devotion to the historical figure at the origin of our tradition is the (secondary) emergence of a noble sentiment, a favorable disposition of our soil in view of the nature of wisdom seeds.

Once this devotion takes a primary turn, devotion for its own sake, it becomes at best a sterile dead end, at worst, a path to perdition, depending on the degrees of expression of this primary spirit along the spectrum from the initial to the radical.
