Leaving the mind
through the floor,
through the ceiling,
are two different experiences.
The investigation of the infra-mental and supra-mental spheres are two different journeys.
Infra, here, means « not yet contaminated by the waters of the mind. », upstream.
The floor of the mind is listening and sitting below, then, under the diaphragm,
it opens onto the chest, the belly, the root, the perineum level.
The path, whether we are currently accustomed to it or not, is such a familiar path.
Listening to the floor, which creaks beneath my feet,
Here we are below the words.
Recognizing the gentle aspiration of the ceiling,
Here we are above and beyond.
Notes & Silence 
Now I am puzzling.
Whether this « leaving the mind » links to the issues of identity that, to me at any rate, were raised by Ka Malana on the Fiestaestrellas blog yesterday… Hmm. Divesting oneself – however temporarily in this existence – of the illusion of « self »…

This way of sitting has movement of awareness above and below and holding both at once in moments of poise. What a delight to read.
