The point of contact between the bowl and the mallet is the point of existence,
The encounter between the eye and the light of the object,
Between the ear and the sound,
Between thought and mind,
Evanescent, the sound of the bowl extends ever into infinity
At the point of contact between the bowl and the mallet, the universe is created and yet already gone,
With a single blow of the mallet, the inner big bang, the unfolding of beings and worlds,
and then nothing more
Consciousness, to put it simply, the point of contact between the bowl and the mallet is the meeting point between the eye and the inner eye, between consciousness and spirit,
The point of my birth,
The movement of beings and worlds is thus already present in this point of contact between the hand and the mallet,
Between mind and hand, between the Spirit and the mind.
