You’re bigger, broader, freer than that, « leave this body-mind. »
Like a father who raises his voice a little to his young child, who doesn’t dare go to his room because he has to cross the dark hallway: « Come on… you’re a big boy now, stop whining in the kitchen! »
Without this impulse, the child would have gladly spent his time under the light on the kitchen tiles.
So, we, still asleep, in this body-mind, ignorant of our room and the opening onto the subtle worlds. We need the impulse of an injunction like Dogen’s.

We all have our roots in the infinite consciousness. If only we could see that.
