“We know well what the earth takes away from them.”
This earthly existence restricts human consciousness to such an extent that we cannot fully grasp the limited state of our consciousness and function daily, believing ourselves to be a complete version of ourselves.
We must understand the reality of this realm of consciousness, from which we can be kept at a distance, in order to love humanity reduced to this plane of existence.
Continuation of the verse: “With Us is a Record that preserves everything.”
Everything that humanity can be (in its unreduced form) is present in the Book. The Book serves as a reminder to humanity of its eternal nature.
