3-Way Way

Jesus is also a Zen master. We must acknowledge a certain « genius » in Christianity:

This can be appreciated whether one is among the believers or outside of this community.
This genius lies in allowing, within a single tradition, the experience of spirituality along three axes, three possible perspectives:

1- The Father: uniqueness, the magisterial space
2- The Son: devotion, emotion, closeness, identification
3- The Spirit: inspiring manifestation, permeation of reality

The Christian practitioner moves freely within these three poles.

Of course, these three poles exist within all religions, but a dominant one seems to be present in Christianity; the three realms of spiritual expression are on the same level and cultivated with the same fervor.

  1. And if there are other axes? Or spirituality unaligned with any axis? Is not the genius made restriction?

Being an equal measure of heretic and apostate, I am unsure Jesus existed, save as an idea. Certainly not as recorded by those with axes (visual pun intended; I know the pronunciation varies) to grind. So, he becomes whatever one imagines.

    1. Nice pun.
I mean, I got it, this time.

Why not let go of the rage against political uses of spiritual material.
That is such a waste of energy.

The kingdom, in any case, is not of this world.

  2. What if Christ was the Principle, the Process of Consciousness Enlightenment itself,
    Would it change a thing?
He would still retain his fully divine and fully human nature.
And even theologians would be satisfied.
