When I let my eyes wander over the most salient, most acute moments, one key consideration is this:
-The quality of your prayer is determined far more by the place within you from which you pray than by what you actually say.
If your place is sound, then your prayer will be the expression of your deepest being.
The quality of your presence in the world, to yourself, determines the power of the prayer. Power does not reside in words, but in the sincere dedication to practice of the one who speaks them.
Each prayer, each word, sharpens one’s inner vision and contributes to approaching one’s deepest being.
If I listen from this place, I hear eternal prayer.
