In the dream, the owl has its back to me. I feel that it is one of the elements created by my mind to occupy me, although in this moment of dreaming, there is no other object on which to focus my attention. Only the owl has its back to me.
This scene is a confirmation of the projective nature of objects of consciousness.
I feel that it must be turning its head toward me. I tell myself, without saying a word, without asking… I tell myself that the owl must be turning its head, and I focus on the feathers on its neck.
They become my entire universe at that moment, occupying my whole field of attention.
The feathers move, my eyes turn. I wake up.

An owl, a symbol of wisdom.
It has its back to you.
You seem to be almost willing it to turn and look.
But is it in hope, fear, or some other state, that you seek the gaze of wisdom?

I would like to answer : « in thirst for truth », but I don’t want to trigger you..I know you have issues with the T word (as well)

Searching for it does not bother me. It is those who claim to have found it I cannot abide.

Those who claim will have to defend,
Defenders I cannot abide.
For Truth does not need them,
Truth is Truth
What are they defending then other than themselves ?

Ah – words, words… misleading words… Clever, though.
