The people of simple sitting,
Are the people of the ultimate,
A sense of the ultimate brings them all together beyond the limits of space or temporal codes,
A call for the ultimate, an appetite for the steep path, the same orientation for the powerful conduit, all valves open.
The same exhaustion by the noise,
The people of zazen find themselves one day on a beach, wrung out by the waves of the ocean,
the sound of pebbles with sand filling your eyes, ears and mouth.
This is how they grab hold of a zafu to truly exist.

The ultimate because there is nothing beyond simply « being »?

There is non-being, beyond being (?)

Does that which is not exist…?

It has to, otherwise how would we know that what exists exists?
It has to, yet it can’t.
Unless what is is not.

Perhaps the error is to think we know anything.
In fact, we know nothing.
And, therefore, no thing is.

I never thought a single moment there were anything I had ever known.
You mean we give existence through knowing (consciousness contact(?) ?
That is very Berkeley-ish, if so..

It is dangerous to assume I know what I mean.
But, in my universe, perhaps, only that which I sense exists.
Certainly, I cannot prove otherwise.
