The different ‘stations’ of the spiritual journey are not necessarily traversed chronologically and linearly.
They can be actualized synchronously, retroactively, belatedly, unevenly, or in advance, in fits and starts, or be emptied of their learning before being replenished.
Thus, the impression of regression or circularity in the spiritual path, which leads to a loss of confidence, may be due to ignorance of these non-linear modalities.
The stations are notably represented by the characteristics concentrated in each of the prophets, each of the prisms specific to traditions, and the prisms within a single religion.
