I sometimes get the feeling that fully embracing a religion, its beliefs kit, corresponds to a decision of blotting out a wide part of reality, to veiling wonders of beauty, depth and poetry, to denying our potential as well. Buying this pre-thought kit means standing out of reality.
I cannot help but have this instinctive understanding that what ought to be done, for human beings trying to unfurl their natural coil, to follow their path, is simply a surrender to what is, without claiming any anchoring in the enclosed sea of religion, i.e, without favouring any identitary withdrawal, imposed on ourselves by the emergency of existential anxiety.
Religion can definitely be an entry door to the hallway of Reality. However, one must not become obsessed by the door, stagnate and stamp, staring at it like a maniac… Refusing to see the infinity of doors along the hallway.
