Sacrament Of Forgiveness

Sitting zazen, there is a sacrament of forgiveness.
Towards others, of course, forgiveness dawning in the horizon,
Towards ourselves, forgiveness we receive.

The heart of zazen is the heart of God,
A boundless space where others’ shortcomings and our own failures
Can be welcomed and dissolved.
