Behind every gesture, every ritual, chant,
Behind every practice of a small religion,
You’ll find a door opening onto the Large Religion,
To all appearances, small religions are many ;
The Large Religion is one.
To the eyes of many, the door leading there is concealed.
It is only through a favorable angle
That the door can reveal its presence
To the one entering the room of the ritual.
