Religion is not the bottom of the soul.
It is the vocabulary that opens the doors of your soul.
The scents that bring you to a standstill and bring you down on your knees,
The music that makes the beasts lie on the outskirts of the Kingdom…
Tradition is not the end of the road.
Practice, if it opens the doors of your soul,
If it brings you to your knees, and leads you behind the towers of the Kingdom,
This, is the end of the road.

So much depends on definitions.
For me:
1. Belief: how I make sense of my existence here and now. May be different tomorrow.
2. Faith: belief hardened into unassailable doctrine. I seek to have no faith.
3. Religion: the effect of faith and doctrine on behaviour. I seek to have no religion.
4. Practice: the way I live here and now. May be different tomorrow.
So, best to live in the here and now without the dead hand of undue certainties.
