Every lotus that unfolds releases a “thank you”,
universal, without object, for everything, everyone,
and for yourself.
A floating thank you,
a scent of joy.
May it reach out and touch your long dis-ease,
Like a distant incense long extinct,
Makes anyone entering the room
Gently smile.
