Music robs the beauty of calmness.
On deep water, nothing is built.
There, light sinks in and leaves fall
And plants slowly decompose.
All of this is raining inside.
The sea, forever building-less and gilded with silence,
The continent, piled with debris,
We are constantly building there.
Some buildings, still standing,
So grey, so sad,
And ravaged by noise,
In the landscape of zazen, no construction,
Also, the passerby says: “a useless gathering”,
This morning, I smile.

The quiet and lone place is often despised, save by those who have learned its value.
