God decides

When in the Qur’an we repeatedly read that « God saves whomever He wants« ,

This does not mean that God exerts His power arbitrarily and despite all that Man expects of Him, as a spoiled prince, a capricious king might do…

An inner listening reveals that the encounter with the divine Nature does not depend on our gestures, techniques, practices, strategies and others,

that the encounter in Consciousness is not the result of the one in us who wants, who does…

Realizing this is very liberating.

To the practitioner of silent sitting, this is very clear.
Whatever our effort, our experience, our legitimacy, or our lack thereof
It has nothing to do with Consciousness Breakthough.

    1. I believe the saved one is the saved part inside of you.
This, to me, is closely related to bodhicitta (spirit of awakening), or nature of awakening inside each of us.

Non internalized, perceived in its exoteric clothes, I agree with you.
Yet, it is not my reading, today…

Zen Buddhism helped me a lot in changing my observation angle on such aspects.

The narrative detour of Scriptures is as much a powerful teaching means as it is a trap, a blimder to prevent inner understanding.

(This is a cue to myself…don’t get me wrong..)

    3. …and an inner reading is certainly what liberates us from Any controlling attempts by ‘political hijackers of external religions.

    4. Institutional religions have taken spirituality hostage…
have tried to…but can never succeed in doing so,
for liberation of imprisonment (inferno) is not in their hand but depends on the soul maturation (bodhicitta / chosen one inside)

  1. I seem to have set off a stream of consciousness that was difficult to keep up with – therefore, you can have one « like » on the last one as it is, otherwise, far too exhausting!!!

As you know, I prefer to try to avoid the language of institutional religion. Don’t give ’em the chance…!
