When I say: Zazen, the practice of sitting … I mean the path that leads to the cabin of God,
This means that simple practice, that of the heart of Zen, leads to surrendering to the divine,
: The authentic and dedicated practitioner ends up abandoning oneself to what is greater, the inner resonance of the divine word
Also, what is found at the scale of a life of practice is found – wonderfully – at each of its composing unit :
Each sitting is a path that we take to come back to the Father.

Buddhists knew how to establish inner peace.

Is not, each one, a cabin for whatever it is that is the divine spark?
You speak of self-discovery, if so.

If you’d asked me a few months ago, I would have said : « that’s what I think ».
Now I’d remain silent.
Ultimately, I have not changed my mind one inch.
Still…

And yet you have not stayed silent. Such irony!

That’s because you didn’t ask.
Try asking, I won’t say a word.

That is because we do not investigate the details…Technically, what you mention was a rhetorical question…(interrogative form used for politeness purposes / humble suggestion Vs egotistic assertion…Which empties the question mark of its questioning property.
