Debating Jail (Borders 2/2)

Part 1 : Believing in the Power of Borders (Borders 1/2)

Discourses are borders drawn by words,
Bars of words.
One after the other, they appear before my eyes.
The sequence of this series of bars is made possible by our listening.
The game of argumentation / counter-argumentation is yet another discourse, In the discourse within which it is common to allow oneself to be confined: an injunction to debate. At no time does such an injunction exist, in reality.

It takes shape as soon as I give it shape through my listening.
The game of argumentation beyond an intrinsic intellectual value is the the police of all talks within which it takes shape and through which it works.

It is not so much the injunction to debate…which in itself is the mechanism by which the trap closes. This is the injunction to debate with…
By debating with the person giving a prison speech, I lock myself around him. He does not free himself because of my counter-discourse. This is the founding myth allowing the development of this debate police.

This one will not change my mind, on the other hand, the counter-argumentative exercise with which he forces me results in my confinement.

By indulging in it, I am forced to handle the constituent elements of a nation to which I do not wish to belong.
In doing so, and in a perverse way, I belong there.

The first protection consists of defending our right not to debate, since such confinement occurs, freedom of thought outside of a system simply cannot be discussed. This is the foundation of our freedom.
The obligation to think the system from the system can never result in the protection of our freedom.
