Grace and Non-Doing

Would there not be a joyful investigation to be carried out around the existence of a parallel between the Grace of God and non-doing, that which we cultivate in Zen?

Wouldn’t they be the two ways of naming a thing on either side of this same reality ?

Grace gives faith of non-doing and non-doing calls for grace.
What is called grace here could also be called Providence.
Non-doing is the intention of the power of emptiness, of That which is always greater. Awakening, grace, or Providence, is the abandonment of our small strategies of action.

Non-doing is a leap of faith.
And grace is a manifestation of emptiness.
Putting it into words provokes identification, the “parochial attitude”.

What is at work deserves at least our withdrawal.
Non-doing also means entering silence. Grace has no need of our putting it into words.

That is good news.
