Man never ceases to seek union with the Divine.
The vast majority of his strategies, practices, attempts to do so are terribly ill-oriented.
Not just ill-oriented as the fruit of ignorance.
What is terrible about this mis-aiming is that the ways in which it manifests are very often the guarantee for even further distance to come between the direction and the destination.
There is something exponential in this ‘terribly’, a ripple effect towards chaos, a path to desolation.
There is a horizon so distant that we can no longer see it, guess it, remember it.
The line is flying by and the direction is sheer madness.
The first bed of union with the divine is that of the sexual relationship between spouses.
The door.
Unfortunately this door, as discussed, commented on, source of morbid obsessions,
is the gateway to the hell of the ego, confinement in the relationship with oneself,
compulsive contentment.
A door forever closed, an illusory door.
Gate of illusions, painted on a wall of desolation.
Before which masses flock, ragged bodies salivating with misguided desires.
Each a little more the divine key against the bricks of ugliness.
The key to the divine opens the door to God.
The key to the divine opens to greater love.
The key of the divine and the divine lock…
The sexual relationship, ennobled by the sacred palms of marriage,
Field of consciousness and wisdom,
Places man and woman
Both, on the Returning Path,
Both offer themselves on the path to Union
Spouses participate in the present of the Eternal Soul
They bring Love into the world
Through their fragility, they tend towards perfect intimacy with the One
Together we open up to the Primordial Embrace

Well, it is one way of viewing this. Though I have known those who claim not to seek any relationship with the divine, despise the word and would regard it as utterly unacceptable to suggest they « never cease » to seek such.
