Prayer is a call to the depths of our being.
Until these depths manifest themselves in our lives and provoke, through their expression, our alignment.
Is this grace? Always at work, it never stops defining us.
Without prayer, it does not disrupt the flow of our surface lives.
And the alignment remains pending, waiting behind our lips that do not pray.

Prayer may be seen, rather, as a way of living, at which point it seems difficult to distinguish from meditation, and the words become unnecessary.
I think.

The ultimate prayer is silent
I often feel that an energy is calling for exhaustion…it needs to be emptied.
Words may then be the machinery allowing such a protocol of exhaustion.
I’m almost thinking about nirvana.
the term, meaning exhaustion, emptying…
But I hold it, I’ll give it a second non-thought.
