You have to extract yourself from nature to call it “environment”.
This term reveals an anthropo-centered perspective, since it consists of qualifying everything that surrounds him in relation to man.
The term “environment” accelerates the dynamic of seclusion, of Man’s withdrawal from Nature, and, while maintaining a distance between him and the environment, thus asserting his non-animal status also reveals a paranoid aspect : man is at the center of what surrounds him.
The projected aggressiveness attributed to this environment is not only that of possible natural disasters and other outbursts of the elements, but a form of permanent reminder, like the role of a ghost haunting him, reminds Man of the subterfuge by which he extracted from nature.
Existence in a technological polarity, the flag of societal scientific progressivism, is however not the only way Man had to exist as Man.
It was also possible for him to transcend this without leaving nature.
Through sublimation, contemplation, development of the poetic soul, the sweetness within human relationships.
It was possible for him to embody, to bring into the world a peaceful « nature »,
both bringing Nature out of him and taking it in from the outside.
The extraction to which he devoted so much effort is obviously only an abstraction.
It is not decreed through language. A broader environment makes room for human arrogance.
Our technological slavery is also part of nature, eventually.
In the same way that the mind activity is part of being in meditation.
He believes in his autonomy, in the effectiveness of his secession, in the reality of his power of attraction.
While this is not the case, all this is a tiny bubble taking shape in a gigantic whole within which it will eventually burst.

A wonderful experience I had this morning…

Il faut s’extraire de la nature pour l’appeler « environnement ».
Exactement !
La nature reste une alouette qui décolle devant la faucheuse.
L’environnement serait l’emprunte carbone du tracteur qui porte la faucheuse.

Basically, you are saying we are part of a greater whole, and need to recognise, realise, that, to be at peace with it and ourselves. I think…
