The nature of the spirit is that of incense smoke.
Always, it flows upwards.
The air currents, the movements in the room, the surprising presences twist this thread of smoke… Sometimes, they almost seem to interrupt it.
However, as soon as the conditions are met, it will not be able to do otherwise than to express the meaning of its existence in this way.
At other times, there is not a single second of combustion between the initial lighting up of the incense stick and the final extinction where the smoke stops flowing upwards.

mhhh… can’t we just agree on the possibility that the incense smoke is merely a transitory manifestation of an eternal reality, order of things that keeps being valid even though its manifested counterpart has vanished ?
(that would help me a lot here…)
