We often see them as ritual supports
When it is the rituals which are supports of practice and the practice itself is a support of spiritual joy.
We cannot solve the equation without cubing it:
x: ritual
x squared: practical
x cubed: wisdom.
At what point did we stop solving the equation?
Socially, stopping at x is very suitable,
Psychologically, x squared offers us something to satisfy ourselves and others.
