The real “leap of faith” occurs when we extract ourselves from the conceptual stagnation.
Who receives us then? Will we dare to take the plunge? So where does this spirit of extraction come from, the one that at a given moment pushes us to investigate the fault in the sea of thoughts?
The “leap of faith” is liberating.
And what confidence does one need to dive into the breach when the bricks of the wall are those of tradition, of texts, of religious learning, that the cement of words is made of linguistic automatisms, repeated a thousand times.
On the other side of the wall, there is none of that anymore.
A field of grace, of gratitude where tall grass ripples, animals from all time graze, which respond to us through them, as if we had always been sitting there, among them.
Remember then that it is indeed religion that brought us here…
Without it, what would I have achieved? What reason would we have to smile in such a joyful way, today ?
