Ablution of Breath

Breathing is an ablution
It makes the water of breath flow
throughout the body,
lungs, heart, blood network, each organ
in the subtle networks related,
as in those from which they stem.
Ablution through breath,
Let the breath proceed,
Let it in,
release it,

The very dynamics of ablution are at stake here.
Ablution by breathing is made of consciousness,
when the breath cleanses the cells
it does what the breath does,
whether we’re aware or it or not.
