It is the duplicity of words, actions, thoughts, which is the cause of our suffering.
This is valued by worldly society, that will name it:
« sophistication, depth of analysis, psychological density, intellectual flexibility, open-mindedness »
Duplicity = 2= Divider.

« Duplicity » has the sense of « dishonestly deceiving » – is this how you meant it, or as a synonym for « dualism »?

I guess what I intended was to refer to ambiguity in words and behaviours, lack of honesty, lack of freshness, of « purity » of intention., a form of affectation.
Something which divides, lies, manipulates, complexifies…
which breaks reality into pieces / shatters unity.
Inside and outside.
I think I chose ‘duplicity’ because the way it sounds seemed to convey all that.
Not sure it does, now that I read you.

Actually, it does. I was just unsure if that was your intent

please don’t expect me to have intents.
Let alone consistent ones.
thanks for your watchfulness,
I tend to translate those articles too quickly and often use a word for another.
Which annihilates the use of words,
and the use this blog, eventually..

Well, word for word translations can be most unintentionally entertaining…!

my experience is closer to « intentionally unentertaining »
some call it ‘work’
