The voluptuousness of thoughts is revealed
In the smoke curls,
The closed incense holder is the mind.
It holds them without really holding them,
And accumulates under the lid,
The soot, the filth, of years spent retaining.
Artistic considerations,
Conceptual frameworks
Philosophical discussions,
Are all games of smoke,
Sitting is the moment, extremely fleeting.
Sitting on the fine point of the smoke
Just at the end of the last volute
The inner eye fixed both on the trace of the smoke,
Voluptuous curves,
And on the place where all the smoke
vanish and disappear.
Notes & Silence 
But, taking this metaphor, and running with it, isn’t there a need to clean the grime from the incense burner? Is there not a greater need to stop burning incense?
After all, smoking is bad for you.
