Baby Disciple

What questions me, through religions and practices, is the need to be infantilized as a component sought by certain people.

They feel an attraction for practices with strong assessment components.
Infantilization is observed on a double front,
first of all at the level of the good/bad, pure/impure dichotomy

Each of these poles will tend to be perceived in a pronounced way.
Good very good and evil very bad,
This is the stage of children’s movies (the bad guy is a big villain without nuance)
and parents with an untouchable image (my dad is the strongest and my mom is the most beautiful)

Such profiles will perhaps feel an attraction to groups to express a rigorous and rigid tendency.

Let us note in passing that this is not about stigmatizing a practice, since this component is found in the practitioner’s « software » more than in the practice itself,

As the disciple evolves along his path, these polarizing factors will naturally fade.

The other way of expressing infantilization in religions / practices will be observed at the level of the search for competition: the disciple will seek to appear, or even to be the most virtuous in respecting the conditions of purity, virtue.

These two aspects (fear of doing wrong / desire to do good) in competition are in reality one and the same manifestation of the infantilization of the disciple

it is expressed at the personal level as well as at the group level.
