The Eternal Now

God Now,
For God is always now,

This is what Zen teaches,
God is now,

This is so true that God and now are synonymous.
Now is the name of God,
This is why God has no name because now is elusive.

If I name now, now is no more.
If I name and fixate on God, then it is not God, but an idol.

If I revive and organize my memories of the past, if I anticipate and fantasize about a possible future,
If I wrap God, with the past or the future, it is not of God that I speak but of a idol.

The words of the past only serve your soul if they remind you that you are the eternal now.
Seeing God now is the coming of the Kingdom,
Experiencing the Eternal now is allowing the reign of God.

    1. ‘The only now’ theory is exclusive of any statement in favour of a perpetual change.
If there’s onny now, there can be no change.
Change needs a past an a future.
Unless change, like everything else has intrinsic reality and is a matter of perception.
So…just repeating what you just said.

I’m now wondering in advocates of the ‘here and now’ and ‘change is the only certitude we have’ ever think about this possible incompatibility.
