There are people for whom it is very important to give God a name, others for whom the name given to God doesn’t really matter.
Still others, for whom it is important not to name God.
Fundamentally, there is no difference.
I notice that the first category is the least inclined to accept this.

No-one ever seems to ask: « What does God call himself / herself / themselves / itself? »
Probably because those who ascribe a name think they know the answer and those that don’t are not inclined to worry about the unanswerable.
