If expanded consciousness brings inner peace, it’s because it corresponds to a moving closer, a coming together of the human mode of existence in the world and the divine mode.
The human eye draws closer to the vantage point of God’s eye.
Even if it remains very distant from it, this movement of inceasing proximity is always beneficial. It teaches from within the path of wisdom and peace.
