My call is that of the Universe,
my impulse is toward the Universal,
the Beyond
That is the reason of Silent Sitting Practice.
The universal is the same in all traditions.
It could have been Islam, which endlessly celebrates the greatness of God, which endlessly celebrates the greatness of God.
It could have been Hinduism, or even further down in Mahayana…
It is the God of the Bible, who invites people to listen,
Shema Israel, which cannot be conceived because it is beyond concepts.
It is Christ, who boldly teaches us our direct lineage, who never ceases to invite us to discover Abba within us, in our heaven.
My call from the universal, the breath within me toward the Universal, could have been realized in one or other of these traditional forms. In truth, it is actualized in each of them, each time it is actualized in one of them. The call of the divine, from the moment it wears this or that garment, carries them all, and what opposes and discriminates against a tradition cannot be the divine that tradition claims to represent.
