Texts, people, teachings—none of these are anything but an addition, a thick pane of glass above the current.
The great miracle within you inclines you toward simplicity, not toward fear or seeking intermediaries, as if it were
too good to be true,
too simple to be true.

And this is why I distrust texts .. people… teachings…
They are additions. And they shield from the experience of that to which they are added. Distractions masquerading as helps.

A good friend of mine reminded me yesterday that ther can never be any exogeous understanding.
People only understand what they have already understood.
So texts, people, teachings…Do not matter that much eventually.
