When investing consciousness in the physical body to repel mental invaders (in reality, it’s more a case of a panicked fleeing child, a lost child running around, rather than an invader with any strategy or desire to deceive),
an important step will be to observe the center of gravity of the breath.
In the case of a post-panic inflammatory reaction of the inner child, the center of gravity will be located more or less high in the chest; sometimes, it may even seem to be in the throat.
The breath refuses to settle, clings to the attic window, and tries to escape.
With patience and gentleness, we must move it downwards.
Downwards.
Chest, stomach, navel, hara.
Like a diver running out of oxygen, it will automatically try to swim upwards but never reach the surface. Really.
Gently, again, let us recall this center of gravity which belongs to this deep cave below the navel from which it nourishes the entire organism, physical, mental, emotional and beyond.
