Complicated Gesticulations

So it’s stronger than you, stronger than me, stronger than Man.

Even in the silence of sitting, you had to bring your noise and start clashing the metal beams of concepts, erect a cemented edifice.

I’ll go sit outside, sitting within, I won’t stay here.

It’s as if we didn’t really want it, the simplicity of sitting,
which we’ve been claiming to long for.

What we’re really experiencing is a series of complicated gesticulation, not simple sitting.

We must keep the flames of concepts (gesticulations) burning and refine their (complicated) engineering to the point of absurdity, until our hearts suffocate under a pile of fragments of labyrinths to be rebuilt.

One would have to be naive, or desperate, to believe that Buddhism, what they call ‘Zen,’ would be exempt from this.
